How to Get Your Arizona CDL License

Hold a valid Arizona driver's license
You need a valid noncommercial Arizona driver's license before applying, and must be at least 18 to drive commercially within Arizona, or 21 to cross state lines or transport hazardous materials, under federal rules that apply nationwide.
Get your DOT medical certificate
Complete a DOT medical examination and self-certify to the MVD that you're medically qualified to operate a commercial vehicle.

Receive your CDL
