How to Get Your Idaho CDL License

Hold a valid regular Idaho license

Pay the skills test fee and pass the skills test
Pay the $70 skills test fee and pass a pre-trip inspection and on-road driving evaluation for the CDL class you applied for.
Receive your CDL
Once you pass, receive your Class A, B, or C commercial driver's license, with any endorsements reflecting the additional tests you passed.
